Enter your loan details once: an optional name, the outstanding principal, remaining term, nominal annual interest rate, and any additional levy charged by your lender. Choose your rate type (fixed or variable) and, if fixed, the duration of the fixed period and the rate that applies after it expires. The form shows a live summary — effective rate, term in years, and estimated instalment — as you type. Click Save & Apply. All settings can be changed at any time via Edit.
Track up to three loans (e.g. a mortgage plus a home-repair loan). Add one with + Add in the tab bar and give it a name in the setup form. Each loan gets its own tab and projection — click a tab to switch between them. Remove a loan with Delete this loan in its Edit screen; deleting back down to one loan returns to the single-loan view.
Once you have more than one loan, a Dashboard tab appears. It aggregates everything across your loans: total outstanding balance, earliest payoff, total interest saved, a combined balance chart, a card per loan, and a collapsible annual schedule. Your monthly budget is managed here too — set a single total and use the sliders to split it across loans (the split always sums to 100%).
Enter the total amount you are willing to pay each month. The monthly surplus — your budget minus the regular instalment — accumulates and is paid as an annual lump-sum prepayment on the month you select. Increasing your budget accelerates principal reduction and brings your settlement date forward.
The schedule shows the full amortisation table: each row is one month and displays the interest charge, the principal repayment, the total instalment, any lump-sum prepayment, and the remaining outstanding balance.
Each year, on your chosen month, accumulated surplus is paid as a lump-sum prepayment directly against principal. You can also add a one-off manual prepayment to any future row using the + button in the Lump Sum column.
Reduce Duration — the instalment stays roughly the same; each prepayment shortens the remaining term.
Reduce Instalment — the term stays fixed; each prepayment lowers the monthly instalment going forward.
When a payment has been made, click the empty circle (◯) at the left of that projected row. The projected amounts pre-fill; edit them if your lender charged differently, then Save. The row locks (🔒) and is never overwritten by recalculations — click the lock to edit it again. All future rows recalculate from the locked outstanding balance.
Available in Reduce Instalment mode. Enter a target settlement month to find the prepayment required to clear the outstanding balance, or enter a prepayment amount to find the earliest possible settlement month. Click Apply to insert it into the schedule.
